A Quarter Century of Geotechnical Research RelatedO. Hungr Geotechnical Research, Inc: Windows-based microcomputer program for geotechnical slope stability analysis in two or three dimensions. O. Hungr Geotechnical Research, Inc.: CLARA-W, a Windows version of the three-dimensional slope stability program, was released in July, 2001. Although similar in concept to its DOS predecessor, which has been in use for more than a decade, this is a totally new program with a number of powerful capabilities for both 3D and 2D analysis. The program is very easy to operate and to learn, despite it's advanced features. Centre for Geotechnical Research: The Centre for Geotechnical Research (CGR) was established within the University of Sydney in 1987 and its primary aim was furthering knowledge in the theory and application of geomechanics and geotechnical engineering. Since its inception, strong links have been established with industry and industry support has been very important in achieving the Centre's goals.
